St. Thomas the Apostle students benefit from the study of Religion through age appropriate lessons that help them discover our faith. Teachers incorporate the elements of Catholic Social Teaching into all areas of the curriculum, allowing students to make connections between our faith and the world outside our doors. These lessons include: respecting the human dignity of all people; caring for God’s creation; and serving those in need.
As a school family, we gather for monthly prayer services throughout the year. Each grade takes a turn leading a prayer service and parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Additionally, students attend Mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Church about once a month. Students in grades 3, 4 & 5 participate in annual retreats that help them grow in friendship and faith with their classmates.
As we pursue our mission of educating in the Roman Catholic tradition, we welcome students and families of all faiths and backgrounds. This diversity enriches and strengthens our community and our faith.
